COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – While apples will be the main focus in downtown Coldwater this weekend, the smell of smoked meats will fill the air around the Branch County Fairgrounds.
BBQ Pit Masters from across the country will be in town for the Kansas City BBQ Cookoff as part of September Fest at the fairgrounds.

Unfortunately tasting samples won’t be available to the public during the event but they will also have an amateur division where you can showcase your BBQ skills.
Friday night will also feature a rib burn as well as live entertainment.
In addition to the Troy Link Memorial Truck Show will take place on the opposite side of the fairgrounds on Friday and Saturday from 8:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m.
