Road and water line replacement projects in Coldwater expected to last until the end of October or early November

COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – Even though some road construction in Coldwater is wrapping up, the work is not over yet.

The Butters Avenue reconstruction from Race Street to Garfield Avenue is entering its final stages, with final paving happening the end of last week. Pavement markings and shoulder work should be completed this week.

The milling and paving project of North Clay Street, South Clay Street, Elizabeth Street and East Clarke Avenue is underway with completion scheduled for mid-October.

In his report for this afternoon’s Coldwater City Council meeting, City Manager Keith Baker says work has started on the replacement of lead water service lines on Marshall Street. That project is anticipated to extend until the end of October or early November.
