HILLSDALE, MI (WTVB) – The Hillsdale County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a hit and run accident between a pick up and a motorcycle early Sunday morning.
According to a news release, just after midnight Sunday morning 43-year-old Tiana Lowe of Camden was travelling on a motorcycle northbound on South Hillsdale Road when she was struck by a dark pickup truck turning eastbound onto East Bear Lake Road.
The driver of the second vehicle is unknown.
Lowe was transported by ambulance to Hillsdale Community Health Center for what was described as a serious head injury.
It is unknown if alcohol or controlled substances was a factor of the crash that remains under investigation.
The Hillsdale County Sheriff’s Office is asking for assistance locating the hit and run vehicle. It is described as possibly a dark colored Chevrolet Colorado or GMC Canyon with bright green lettering on it. The vehicle is also missing its passenger side tail light.
