Barbara L. Bucklin, 91, of Bronson passed away Tuesday, October 28, 2025 at Drews Place Assisted Living in Coldwater.
A funeral service will take place at Dutcher Funeral Home in Bronson Friday, October 31, 2025, at 1:00 p.m. officiated by Pastor Terry Siler.
Visitation will be held prior to the service from 10:30 a.m.-1:00 p.m. Interment will take place following the service at Bronson Cemetery.
Barb was born May 16, 1934 to Elmer and Helen (Davis) Blain in Branch County. She later met and married Max H. Bucklin December 6, 1953, in Bronson.
Barb worked many jobs through her career including being part owner of Orland LP Gas, with Bronson Community Schools, and many secretary positions.
In her free time Barb enjoyed golfing, talking to others on the phone, and Child Study Group,. She often played cards with her friends, mostly Skip Bo and Euchre. Most of all she loved to spend time with her family, including attending many sports and 4-H events of all her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She cherished every moment she was able to spend with each of them.
Barbara is survived by her children Jedd (Julie) Bucklin; Karen (Bob) Friedel; Jeff (Carol) Bucklin; Jerry (Jill) Bucklin; Kevin Bucklin; her sister Judy Hurley; Cristi (Charlie) Pike; Lindsey (Ben) Vainner; Barbie (Joel) Budd; Tony Bucklin; Aaron (Amanda) Bucklin; Ryan (Samantha) Bucklin; Jeremy (Amy) Bucklin; Steven (Jessica) Bucklin; Jessica Bucklin; Sonya (Brandon) Bilski; Joe Friedel; her 20 great grandchildren; and many loving nieces and nephews.
Barbara is preceded in death by her husband Max Bucklin; her parents; her siblings Charlotte Duncan; Janice Baranouski; and her grandson Joseph R. Bucklin.
Memorial donations may be directed to the American Cancer Society/Michigan chapter.
