COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – The Branch County Board of Commissioners have scheduled County Administrator Frank Walsh’s annual performance review for November 20.
As allowed under the Michigan Open Meetings Act, Walsh has requested the evaluation be conducted in a closed session.
Walsh said in his memo to Commissioners he has completed 10 draft goals for 2026 and he plans to present them during his review.
The Board is scheduled to determine during their November 25 meeting if they plan to extend Walsh’s contract. They also plan to issue the results of the performance review.
Commissioners will rate Walsh’s performance during the past year based on communication, financial oversight, interpersonal skills, annual board goals and problem solving.
