COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – The Northern Lights will likely be visible again tonight over the skies in Branch County.
Last night, sky gazers were left in awe seeing the aurora borealis, which is visible in the area due to what NOAA says is a severe geomagnetic storm.

The Northern Lights occur when the sun’s plasma interacts with the Earth’s magnetic field. If you cannot see the lights with your naked eye, use a cell phone camera with long exposure turned on.
