COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – Southern Michigan Bank & Trust (SMBT) has announced two key leadership appointments to its retail team.
Felicia Landis has been promoted to Assistant Vice President and Municipal Officer, while Angela Jeffrey has been appointed the new Vice President and Coldwater Branch Manager.
Landis, who joined Southern in 2019, previously managed three branches and brings a background in psychology and criminology from Indiana State University, along with prior experience as a branch manager at Huntington National Bank.

According to Derek Naylor, SMBT’s 1st Vice President, Landis’s new role reflects her expertise and passion, which will benefit the bank’s services for local municipalities.
Taking over Landis’s previous role, Angela Jeffrey joins the team as Vice President and Coldwater Branch Manager, bringing with her 27 years of banking experience. Jeffrey’s extensive background includes leadership positions at Century Bank and Trust and Flagstar Bank, where she was most recently a Vice President and Branch Leader.

Lori Neill, SMBT’s Vice President and Retail Branch Administrator, says that Jeffrey’s experience, lending expertise, and commitment to community engagement will be a valuable asset to the bank’s growth. Jeffrey is also a Certified Lender and Notary Public and is an active community member.
