BATTLE CREEK, MI (WTVB) – The Union City girls basketball team improved to 6-0 Monday afternoon by beating Battle Creek St. Philip 48-38.
Madison Krummrey had 17 points, five rebounds, and three steals for Union City, while Ellie Williams had 16 points and seven rebounds and Nala Payne had six points, five assists, and three steals.
The Lady Chargers will be back in action January 2 at the Hoosier Gym in Knightstown, Indiana against Homer. That gym was used for the movie “Hoosiers.”
The Union City boys varsity basketball team fell to Battle Creek St. Philip 60-44 as their record fell to 2-5.
