COLDWATER, MI (WTVB)- The Coldwater Legg Middle School girls basketball teams were swept by Harper Creek Wednesday.
LMS 8th grade team was led in scoring by Natalie Esterlin. Mya McBride also scored for the Lady Cards. Brooklyn Powell was the team’s leading rebounder.
The 7th grade A team lost to Harper Creek 35-23.
Leading the Lady Cards was Karagen Bucklin scoring with 11 points, 3 rebounds, 2 assists, and 3 blocked shots, Brooke Barle scored 6 points and had 4 rebounds, McKenna Vainer scored 3 points and had one assist, while Isabella Vanderpyle scored 3 points and had 2 rebounds and 3 steals.
The 7th grade B team lost 30-15.
Jordi Wilson had 8 points and 2 rebounds, Evelyn McRae scored 2 points with 2 assists, Lylah Sanford had 6 steals, 3 rebounds, and one point, Lily Raymond had 3 rebounds, Annabelle Parris had 4 rebounds and 2 steals, Ava Galliers had 2 rebounds, Leeann Bonds scored 4 points, and Sami Manzer had one point and one rebound.
The teams will take on Pennfield next Wednesday.
