COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – All of Branch County’s track and field teams – Coldwater, Bronson, Quincy, and Union City – along with Parma Western and Loy Norrix were at Cardinal Field Saturday for the Branch County EQ Meet.
Loy Norrix won the boys meet with 195 points, followed by second-place Coldwater with 146. Western was third with 142, Quincy fourth with 84, Union City fifth with 41, and Bronson sixth with 40. Western finished first in the girls meet with 169.5 points, Loy Norrix was second with 149, Coldwater third with 127.5, Quincy fourth with 91, Union City fifth with 72, and Bronson sixth with 27.
Six athletes – two each from Loy Norrix, Western, and Coldwater – met the published Early Qualifying standards in their Divisions and have clinched spots in the MHSAA Finals:
