HILLSDALE, MI (WTVB) – The Bronson girls tennis team took part in the SMITL Tournament Monday at Hillsdale. The Vikings tied Columbia Central for second place with 10 points; Lansing Christian won the tournament with 16 points.
Aleah Brackett finished second at #1 singles and, in the process, picked up an at-large All Conference First Team recognition for Bronson. Two other flights placed second for the Vikings: The #3 doubles team of Jasmine Tomadewicz and Zaidlyn Swan, and the #4 doubles team of Annalise Popma and Alyssa Randol. Finishing third in their flights were Sophia Reed at #3 singles, Hailey Francom at #3 singles, and the #2 doubles team of Anna-Luisa Pinon and Aubree Gump. Fourth-place finishers were Ella Ramsey at #2 singles and the #1 doubles team of Kyleigh Springman and Braylyn Dow.
Bronson returns to action Wednesday at Battle Creek Central.
