Nancy Blanche Dooley, 82, of Coldwater passed away Tuesday, May 19, 2026 at The Laurels of Coldwater.
A graveside service will be held Friday, May 22, 2026 at 11:00 a.m. at Whig Center Cemetery in Butler Township with Pastor Mark Case officiating.
Arrangements are entrusted to the Eagle Funeral Home-George White Chapel in Quincy.
She was born December 24, 1943 in Gladwin, MI to Benjamin and Lucie (Wright) Hayward. She married James Dooley February 3, 1961, and he preceded her in death March 3, 2013.
Nancy attended Litchfield Community Schools and worked for several local companies throughout her life, including Kiddie Brush & Toy, Acorn, Crotty Corporation, and Hi-Lex. She also spent several years at Allen Antique Mall. Nancy loved gardening, sewing, and antiquing, but her greatest joy came from spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Survivors include three children, Brenda (Scott) Adair, Tammy Dooley and Edward (Diana) Dooley; eight grandchildren, Julie (Marc) Aukstikalnis, Jennifer (Gary) Hawver, Benjamin (Brittany) Dooley, Zachary Dooley, Dustin (Niki) Truitt, Miranda (Austin Smith) Truitt, Clayton Dean and Abbie (Nick Stallhood) Dooley; 17 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; and brother, Paul Hayward.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, James; grandchildren, Megan Dooley and Zachary Dean and siblings, Nona Strang and Arnold Hayward.
