COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – The Branch County Sheriff’s Office is equipping its Road Patrol Division with an added layer of high-tech protection following a generous equipment donation from VIP Autobody and Towing.
Sheriff Fred Blankenship announced the contribution of Guardian Angel Elite Series wearable safety lights, a donation aimed directly at improving the field visibility and operational safety of deputies serving the community.
The sheriff’s department publicly extended its gratitude to VIP, emphasizing that community partnerships of this nature make a measurable difference in safeguarding local law enforcement.

The Guardian Angel Elite Series devices are specialized, uniform-mounted safety lights engineered specifically to mitigate the inherent dangers of working traffic stops or dark scenes.
Weighing only three ounces, each device utilizes 18 high-powered LEDs to offer 360-degree visibility that can be seen from over five miles away.
This hands-free illumination ensures that Branch County deputies remain visible to oncoming traffic and other first responders while conducting routine and emergency duties.
