Merna B. Cazier, 82, of Quincy passed away Saturday, July 4, 2026 at home surrounded by her family.
There will be a casual reception to celebrate Merna’s life at her home in Quincy Sunday, July 12, 2026 at 1:00 p.m.
Arrangements are entrusted to the Eagle Funeral Home-George White Chapel in Quincy.
She was born January 22, 1944 in Lincoln, Nebraska to Jesse and Cecil (Sutton) Evans. Merna married Charles Wayne Cazier July 24, 1993 and he preceded her in death in 2014.
Merna enjoyed being in the outdoors. She loved hunting and fishing, but most of all she loved spending time with her family.
Merna is survived by one daughter, Bonnie (Duane) DeWitt-Thompson of Churubusco, Indiana; two sons, Richard (Michel) Beck of Fremont, Indiana, Robert Beck of Summerville, South Carolina: nine grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.
In addition to her husband, Charles, Merna was preceded in death by her parents.
