COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) -Branch County and all of Southern Michigan are set experience an unseasonably cool stretch weather this week, bringing a welcome reprieve with near fall-like temperatures following last weeks combination of heat and wildfire smoke.
Following a week cranking air conditioners, daytime highs on Wednesday will struggle to reach the mid-70s, accompanied by crisp evening lows dipping into the lower 50s and possibly the upper 40’s.
The refreshing Canadian air mass has also successfully swept away the dense wildfire smoke and stagnant humidity that plagued all of Southern Michigan last week.
Just days ago, air quality alerts forced manyindoors and masked the sun in a hazy gray film, compounding the discomfort of ninety-degree heat.
