COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – We now know the begin date for that major $2.89 million infrastructure overhaul of both East and West Pearl Street in Coldwater . Crews are set to begin the work on August 10, that will bring traffic disruptions to the downtown area.
The sweeping project will completely rebuild East Pearl Street from Sprague to Division Street, West Pearl Street from South Clay to Fremont Street, and a one-block stretch of South Hudson Street from US-12 to East Pearl Street.
City Manager Keith Baker says residents should plan ahead for the project that will take more than two months to complete
That project is expected to last well into October, Baker also had an update on the Morse street project that has been ongoing this summer
City officials had the goal all along to have that project completed before school resume next month
