QUINCY TOWNSHIP, MI (WTVB) – A 17-year-old female was hospitalized Sunday afternoon after falling from an uncontrollable horse in Quincy Township, according to the Branch County Sheriff’s Department.
Deputies responded to the intersection of Schultz and Boone roads at approximately 3:21 p.m. on Sunday, where they determined the teenager had lost control of the animal before being thrown to the ground.
Marshall Area Ambulance transported the teenager to Insight Coldwater Hospital for treatment of suspected minor injuries.
First responders from the Quincy Fire Department, Branch County Central Dispatch, and the Marshall Area Ambulance Authority assisted deputies at the scene.
