PARCHMENT, MI (WTVB) – Both of Coldwater’s cross country teams took third place at Parchment Classic 6.0 Wednesday afternoon. The boys finished with 81 points, while the Lady Cards tallied 77 points.
Ethan Aerts was the overall winner in the boys race, finishing with a career-best time of 16:59.3. Also earning medals for the Cardinal boys were Sebastian Hernandez, who finished seventh, 16th place finisher Lucas Newberry, and 18th place runner Drew Vanderpuyl. Bralyon Wood completed the team scoring with his 39th place finish.
On the girls side, everyone who ran had a season or personal best. Coldwater had three medalists: Ellerie Bucklin was eighth, Mya McBride 10th, and Ellie Aughenbaugh 14th. Mya McBride was 23rd, and Ella Thompson 24th to complete the scoring.

The Cardinals will run at the final Interstate 8 jamboree next Tuesday at Parma Western.
