ST. JOSEPH COUNTY, MI (WTVB) – A 33-year-old Centreville man was arrested overnight after a short police pursuit ended when the man’s vehicle ended up stuck in the snow at a White Pigeon business.
St. Joseph County Sheriff Mark Lillywhite reports deputies tried to conduct a traffic stop on a vehicle for not displaying a valid license plate at around midnight.
The vehicle then fled through the village of White Pigeon before getting stuck in the snow.
The driver was found to have warrants for his arrest and was taken into custody without incident.
He was lodged on his warrants as well as felonies for Fleeing and Eluding Police, Resisting and Obstruction of Police as well as a misdemeanor for driving while
his license was suspended.
