COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – Several township supervisors in Branch County are apparently having issues with the idea of a millage for a proposed public safety complex, which would include a new county jail.
The idea for a public safety complex is being pushed by a citizens committee and Branch County Sheriff John Pollack.
Monday night’s Branch County Township Supervisors meeting has changed from the offices of the Branch County Road Commission to the Branch County Jail so Sheriff Pollack can hear what their objections are and so the supervisors can hear directly from the Sheriff.
It’s the last Township Supervisors meeting until October.
The meeting with the supervisors will take place after Pollack gives them a tour of the jail.
