MARSHALL, MI (WTVB) – Two men from Illinois were arrested and the Calhoun County Sheriff’s Department says they recovered a stolen vehicle in Marshall Township Saturday morning.
Deputies responded to a reckless driver complaint on I-94 near Old U.S.27 at about 4:00 a.m.. A deputy spotted the gray Dodge pickup parked near the gas pumps at the Pioneer Truck Stop.
They say the two men lied about who owned the vehicle and how they ended up with it. A K-9 later found illegal substances in the vehicle which they later found out was stolen out of Washtenaw County.
The two suspects, ages 19 and 21, were booked at the Calhoun County Jail on possession of a stolen vehicle and marijuana charges.
