COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – The field of candidates to be the new Manager for the Branch County Memorial Airport is down to three finalists.
Commissioner Leonard Kolcz said during Friday’s Branch County Board of Commissioners work session that the three will be interviewed over the next week.
There were 12 applicants for the job, which became open after Dean VanNasdale decided not to renew his contract for this year.
Applications were submitted to County Administrator Bud Norman. He along with VanNasdale screened the applications and conducted the initial interviews.
They then worked with the Commission liaison to the airport and recommended the three candidates to the county commissioners.
