COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – A section of I-69 in Branch County both south and northbound lanes south of Coldwater was closed 5 times late Wednesday evening and early today to allow electrical power lines to be pulled across the highway. The lines were extended across the interstate near Warren Road in Ovid Township.
Motorists used Old U.S..27 to detour around the shutdown, which stretched from exit 3 at Copeland Road north to exit 10 at Fenn Road.
The longest and final closure lasted from 3:15 a.m.to 3:45 a.m. Thursday, when the project was finally finished.
