COLDWATER, MI (WTVB)- There was an alleged terrorism threat this week at Coldwater High School and an 18-year old suspect was taken into custody at the high school by Coldwater City Police.
Hunter Bromley was arrested by City Police early Wednesday afternoon. Bromley, who lives in Branch County’s Algansee Township, was booked at the Branch County Jail where he’s being held on a $250,000 cash or surety bond.
Coldwater City Police are expected sometime today to release details about the incident. The activity log at Branch County Central Dispatch indicates the first entry on the complaint was made at 12:30 p.m. Wednesday.
Bromley was arraigned yesterday in Branch County District Court on a charge of false report or threat of terrorism. He’s due back in District Court for a probable cause hearing February 8, 2018.
