HOMER, MI (WTVB) – The arson of a motor vehicle which took place on Wednesday night in Clarendon Township about a mile west of Homer is being investigated by the Calhoun County Sheriff’s Department.
Deputies responded at about 8:10 p.m. to a vehicle fire at a commercial business in the 23000 block of M 60.
During the investigation, it appears an unknown individual lit one of the motor vehicles that was in the parking lot on fire and then fled heading east on M60 towards Homer.
The vehicle was called a total loss. Detectives are releasing surveillance images of the suspect vehicle involved in the arson. Detectives believe that the vehicle is similar to an older-model Chevrolet Camaro.
