BRONSON, MI (WTVB) – A Bronson man is in the Branch County Jail this morning after leading Michigan State Police on a high speed chase late last night. Troopers say he also is facing drunk driving and possession of marijuana charges.
The pursuit started around 11:45 p.m. on westbound U.S. 12 near Batavia Road and then it headed south on Parharm Road, ending when the driver pulled over close to Kosmerick road. The suspect fled on foot, but was taken into custody a short time later.
The name of the 34-year old man is being withheld until following his arraignment in District Court.
