Wesley
Lee Morick, age 94, went home to his Father in heaven Tuesday, July 7, 2020.
A
memorial service will be held on Thursday, July 9th at the Coldwater Church of
the Nazarene at 5:00 PM.
Arrangements are being cared for by Dutcher Funeral
Home.
Wesley
was born January 12, 1926 to William and Margaret (McCuloch) Morick in
Rockford, Illinois. He married Kathy Graves on September 12, 1975 in Coldwater.
Wesley
served in the Army Air Force as both a Sergeant and Air Crew member during
WWII. He was the proud owner and operator of Superior Concrete and
Foundations which made him a well-known face around Branch County. Upon
retirement from his business, he worked as a Custodian for the Coldwater
Community School System.
As a member of the Coldwater Church of the Nazarene,
Wes participated in various building projects and grew in his faith and love of
Christ. In the words of our dear Wes, and as his friends and family will
surely remember often hearing, “All I can say is… Nighty night!”
Wes
leaves behind his loving wife of 44 years, Kathy, his three sons, Michael
Morick of Elgin, Illinois, Scott Morick of Coldwater, Greg (Amanda) Morick of
Coldwater as well as his sister, Mildred Harbors of Freeport, Illinois.
Grandchildren of Wes include Brett, Taylor (Dalton), Kelsey, Ashleigh, Cody,
and Mallory. His great-grandchildren include Christine, Paxton and Colton
Wesley as well as one great-great grand-daughter, Juniper.
Preceded in
death along with his parents were his eldest son, Wesley Jr. and two brothers,
Bill and Gene.
