BRONSON, MI (WTVB) – A long time counselor in the Bronson Community School district was formally hired as the new principal at Anderson Elementary School by the Bronson School Board on Monday night.
Alanna Denton will take over from Kate Wall who will now serve as the Bronson school district’s curriculum instruction and grants coordinator.
Denton has over 20 years of experience in education and had previously served as a counselor at Bronson High School.
In other business, after months of discussion the Bronson School Board adopted a revised cell phone policy Monday.
There has been talk about implementing a stricter policy similar to ones currently in place in the Coldwater and Quincy school districts.
The new policy prevents students from bringing their cell phones into the classroom.
