COLDATER, MI (WTVB) – With the Fourth of July falling on a Monday this year, firework shows around Branch County will be spread out over the entire holiday weekend.
Coldwater Lake and Lake George will have their shows on Saturday night.
The annual fireworks show in Union City will once again take place on the eve of Independence Day.
The gates for the Sunday night show at Union City High School’s Alumni Field will open at 7:00 p.m..
The Marble Chain of Lake fireworks show will also be held on Sunday night.
Coldwater’s fireworks are set for Monday night on the Fourth of July at Heritage Park.
Bronson’s fireworks show will take place during Polish Festival Days on July 22.
In addition to the fireworks, the Village of Quincy will have an Independence Day parade on Monday morning starting at 11:00 a.m..
Participants are asked to line up between 10:00 a.m. and 10:30 a.m. in the Quincy High School Parking lot.
The parade route will be along Fulton, Jefferson, Main, and Liberty.
Drivers are asked to avoid the area and use alternative routes south of Quincy.
