CLEVELAND, OH (WKZO AM/FM) -Rain is to blame for the series finale between the Detroit Tigers and the Guardians being postponed yesterday in Cleveland.
Cleveland won the first three games of the series but were denied the opportunity to complete the sweep by mother nature.
The Guardians have had nine home games postponed by inclement weather and have played seven doubleheaders at Progressive Field.
The game will be made up as part of a doubleheader August 15.
The 37-55 Tigers stumble into the All-Star Break after losing eight out of nine games. They are off for the next three days.
Detroit will visit Oakland for a doubleheader against the A’s Thursday.
