CHICAGO, IL (WTVB) – Four current and graduated students from Coldwater High School helped the Michigan Youth in Government Mock Trial team to a fourth place finish at the YMCA National Judicial Competition held in Chicago last week.
The team was comprised for two students from Gaylord St. Mary’s High School and four students from Coldwater High School. The Coldwater students were Evan Henry, Dillon Gagnon, Ben Fagen, and Kumaran Arivoli.
All six students participated in Michigan Youth in Government’s Mock Trial program last spring. There were 22 Mock Trial teams representing 12 different states participating in the competition held at the Chicago Bar Association building.
The case the students tried involved age discrimination in the work place.
