Georgia Lynne Hoffman, 56, of Camden, passed away peacefully Monday, July 10, 2023 at her home surrounded by her loving family.
A funeral service will be held Friday, July 14, 2023 at 11:00 a.m. at Dutcher Funeral Home in Coldwater. Interment will follow the service at Lockwood Cemetery.
The family will receive guests for visitation that morning from 9:00 a.m. until time of service at the funeral home.
A luncheon will follow at New Beginnings Church in Montgomery, MI.
She was born August 29, 1966 to George and Nancy (Delaney) Tanner Sr. in Hudson, MI. On May 3, 1997 Georgia married Eric Hoffman and he survives. Georgia handled document control and compliance throughout her working career until her health no longer allowed her to do so.
She was a dedicated member of the New Beginnings Church in Montgomery, MI; she regularly read her devotionals that only supplemented her faith and the foundation of her life.
Georgia enjoyed “treasure hunting” (thrift trips), traveling, and was a talented artist from baking cakes to beautiful oil paintings, but her greatest passion of all was her family. Georgia will be dearly missed as a loving wife, devoted mother, sister, and friend to many.
In addition to her husband Eric, Georgia leaves behind her children Ashlynn (Breon Joseph) Hoffman, Abbey (Jared Collins) Hoffman both of Camden; her mother Nancy Tanner of Hudson, MI; her brother George Tanner Jr. of Hudson, MI; her loving nieces and nephews; and many other cherished friends and family members.
She was preceded in death by her father George Tanner Sr.
Memorial donations are suggested to Hillsdale County Hospice.
