COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – A groundbreaking ceremony has been scheduled for Friday morning at 10:00 a.m. for the new $9 million Consumers Energy Coldwater Service Center on Jonesville Road near I-69.
The service center will replace an existing one in Bronson and the former Jonesville Service Center.
About 30 workers will be employed at the new building.
About 200 workers from Rockford Construction of Grand Rapids will be building the new building.
The building will be certified by the United States Green Building Council which means it will operate to nationally accepted environmental standards.
