COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – The Branch County Board of Commissioners met with representatives from a pair of Michigan recruitment agencies during their work session on Thursday as they started the process of finding a new County Administrator.
Chet Janik from the Michigan Leadership Institute said they recruit leaders for school districts and public institutions.
Commissioners also talked with Patsy Moore from the Michigan Municipal League. She said they have many recruitment tools.
The firm selected will help Commissioners find the successor for Bud Norman after he announced in January he would be retiring when his contract runs out at the end of the year.
Interviews with candidates are anticipated to start in June with Commissioners tentatively scheduled to conduct final interviews in August.
The hiring of a new administrator is scheduled to take place in October.
