Constance Louise “Connie” Bradshaw, 74 of Coldwater passed away Thursday, March 14, 2024 at her home in Coldwater.
In respect to her wishes, cremation has taken place with no services to be held at this time.
Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Dutcher Funeral Home in Coldwater.
She was born August 28, 1949 to Harold and Helen (O’Shawlcraft) Sowle in Angola, IN.
Connie led a fulfilling and dedicated career with the Branch County Community Action Agency where she ultimately retired as Director of the Agency. To serve and to help was deeply rooted in Connie’s gentle heart as she was instrumental in organizing the original “Walk for Warmth” program and never missed an opportunity to lend a helping hand when and where she could.
Connie enjoyed crocheting and was a talented baker designing countless wedding cakes and beautiful cakes for all occasions. Her service to her community was second to none other than to that of her family that Connie deeply cherished; her grandchildren and great grandchildren were her greatest passion and achievement in life. Connie will be dearly missed as a loving mother, grandmother, sister, and friend to many.
Connie leaves behind her children Chad Burke of Quincy, Heidi Hammond of Coldwater; her siblings Michael (Carol) Sowle of Choctaw, OK, Sharon (Larry) Granger of Pensacola, FL, Patti Hudson of Marshall, Wendy (Ramiro Deleon) McFadden of Bronson; her grandchildren Robert Hammond, Caitlyn (Dustin Highland) Hammond, Annalese Hammond; her great grandchildren Brayden Highland, Seth Highland, Leila Highland, Oliver Highland, Charlotte Helena Grace Highland and her many loving nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her brother Charles Sowle, and her nieces Lorie Briggs and Tracy Sowle.
