Randy F. Maurer, 68, of Quincy, passed away Thursday, July 11, 2024.
There will be no funeral service at this time.
Arrangements are entrusted to Eagle Funeral Home George White Chapel in Quincy.
Randy was born in Albion, Michigan on August 13, 1955, to Harold Maurer Sr. and Lillian (Heath) Maurer.
Randy attended Litchfield Schools and went on to work for many years in manufacturing. He was an avid softball player who enjoyed competing in leagues. He was known to be a hard worker and a handy man and was talented in his woodworking abilities.
He was very close with his brother Rocky and enjoyed spending time telling stories and sharing memories together and watching the Dallas Cowboys.
Survivors include his three children, Rachael (Kevin Burrows) Maurer of Quincy, Jennifer Maurer, and Brian Maurer; sister, Kathy (Denny Higby) Harmon; brothers, Robert Maurer, and Douglas (Bridgett Gripman) Maurer; 5 grandchildren, Corey Shoemaker, Collin Shoemaker, Alicyn Nero, Zayden Ashley, and Ethan Goebel; brother-in-law, Don Watson; and sister-in-law, Sharon Maurer.
Randy is preceded in death by his parents; sister, Beverly Watson; brothers Harold Maurer Jr., and Rocky Maurer.
