WASHINGTON (Reuters) – The United Auto Workers union on Wednesday voted to endorse Vice President Kamala Harris’ presidential bid.
The 370,000-member UAW said its executive board voted to endorse her after it had endorsed President Joe Biden’s re-election bid in January. Biden withdrew from the race last week.
Both Harris and Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump are heavily courting autoworkers.
