BRONSON, MI (WTVB) – Santa Claus made festive arrivals in the City of Bronson and the Village of Union City over the Thanksgiving holiday weekend.
The historic Bronson Theater was filled with holiday cheer on Friday night as Santa made a memorable entrance in unique style. Trading in his sleigh for a more modern ride, Santa and Mrs. Claus were transported to the theater by the Bronson Fire Department.
The event drew over 50 families, who came together to celebrate the holiday with gifts and photographs.
Volunteers from the Bronson Community Foundation, Kiwanis, and SPOOKS helped put the event together.
Santa was part of the annual Union City Christmas parade and made a stop at Southern Michigan Bank and Trust on Saturday night. Those who attended the parade braved temperatures near 20 degrees with wind chills in the single digits.
The parade wrapped up a day full of holiday activities in Union City which included Small Business Saturday.
