COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – The Coldwater girls varsity soccer team stayed undefeated on the season with a scoreless tie against Jackson High Monday night. Defense dominated the game for both teams, with Jackson outshooting Coldwater 6-5. Whitney Johnson made four saves in goal for her first varsity shutout.
The Lady Cardinals are now 1-0-1 on the season and play a non-conference game at Sturgis Wednesday in their final action before Spring Break.
The Coldwater Junior Varsity team saw its first action of the year Monday, falling to Jackson 1-0.
