CALHOUN COUNTY, MI (WTVB) – The Calhoun County Sheriff’s Office says the Coldwater Police Department assisted them during an investigation into allegations of voyeurism which led to the arrest of a 56-year-old man from Eckford Township.
According to a department news release, investigators received reports regarding the suspect’s alleged actions of secretly recording individuals while they were in various stages of undress.
The man was identified after what the department described as a “thorough investigation” and was taken into custody.
His name has not been released but the charges he is facing include surveillance of an individual with a reasonable expectation of privacy and using a computer or internet to commit a crime.
A search warrant was executed at the suspect’s residence, where additional evidence was collected. The investigation is continuing.
