UNION CITY, MI (WTVB) – Union City Community Schools will be dismissing classes early on Friday so that students and staff can support the Union City Charger Wrestlers as they compete in the M.H.S.A.A. Division Four quarterfinals against Martin/Climax Scotts at the Wings Event Center in Kalamazoo.
With the wrestling match starting at noon, there will be a half day of school on Friday.
Elementary students will be dismissed at 10:30 a.m., the Middle School at 10:40 a.m. and the High School at 10:45 a.m..
There will be no busing for morning and afternoon classes at the Calhoun Area Career Center. Math and Science Center students will be excused from the programs on Friday.
Students may still attend these programs, but must have their own transportation to and from the centers.
