COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – Branch County Administrator Frank Walsh has announced that Jessica Miller has been hired as the new Deputy County Administrator/Finance Director.
Miller is currently St. Joseph County’s Assistant to the County Administrator. Her responsibilities include human resources, grant writing and financial analysis.
She spent 17 years serving customers and clients at Century Bank and Trust and earned a bachelor’s degree in business, with an accounting major, from Western Michigan University.
Walsh said in a press release, “Jessica brings the perfect blend of experience, energy, and teambuilding philosophy to Branch County. I fully expect our human resources and financial acumen to grow under Jesscia’s leadership. We found exactly what we sought in reviewing candidates. I’m amazed that we found the perfect fit and did not impact our budget in the process.
Miller said, “It is truly an honor and privilege to be chosen for this position. With great enthusiasm and humility, I am eager to build a vibrant team culture that uplifts our employees and citizens. I look forward to serving Branch County and making a meaningful impact.”
Miller will officially join the Branch County team on Monday, March 31.
