Larry J. Wrozek 78, of Bronson passed away Sunday, July 20, 2025 at his home.
Cremation has taken place, and a celebration of life will be held at a later date.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Dutcher Funeral Home.
Larry was born October 27, 1946 to Stanley and Geraldine (Wendorf) Wrozek in Jackson, MI. He graduated from St John High School in 1964 and enlisted in the Navy from 1965-1969, serving in the Vietnam War.
He returned to Jackson, started a family and continued his education completing his Bachelor of Business from Cleary College.
He moved his family to Bronson in 1975 and retired from Ross Laboratories in Sturgis as an electrician and continued working at Eaton in Jackson upon a second retirement in 2015. He was a volunteer for the Bronson Fire Department and a member of the Michigan Air National Guard, serving 31+ years, retiring in 2006.
Mr. Wrozek was a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Knights of Columbus, VFW, American Legion, Airforce Sergeant’s Association and NRA.
His hobbies included camping, playing cards, volunteering at Bronson Food Bank and attending auctions. He collected many things and spent much of his retirement reading a large collection of books.
Larry is survived by his former wife, Janet (Kosinski) Wrozek and their children Brian Wrozek of Portage, Kevin (Catina) Wrozek of Sherwood, Kelley Richey of Bronson, Bradey Wrozek of Bronson; his siblings Connie Persing, Rick (Ann Marie) Wrozek, Jim (Terry) Wrozek, Terry (Camie) Wrozek, Gary (Melissa) Wrozek, John Wrozek; his 8 grandchildren; 5 great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
Larry was preceded in death by his grandson, Kyle Wrozek.
