Karen L. Crabtree, 75, of Coldwater passed away Sunday, July 27, 2025 at Lakeland Rehab and Healthcare Center in Angola.
A service will be held Friday, August 1, 2025 at 12:00 p.m. at Dutcher Funeral Home in Coldwater with Pastor Mark Case officiating.
A visitation will be held prior to the service from 10:00 a.m.-12:00 p.m. at Dutcher Funeral Home. Interment will follow the service at Oak Grove Cemetery.
Karen was born January 27, 1950 in Coldwater to Louis and Mary (Tucker) Easterday. She married Richard M. Crabtree May 1, 1971, in Coldwater.
Karen was a pharmacy technician at Meijer for over 10 years before retiring. She was a member of St. Charles Catholic Church. Karen enjoyed gardening and spending time with her family.
Karen is survived by her husband, Richard Crabtree of Coldwater; her children Eric (Christy) Crabtree of Chicago, Ryan (Kristen) Crabtree of Coldwater, Chris (Whitney) Crabtree of Battle Creek; her siblings Mark (Gail) Henderson, Maryjo Henderson; and her grandchildren Brady, Alexander, and Rowan.
Karen was preceded in death by her parents Louis Easterday and Mary Henderson; her stepfather George Henderson; and her sister Linda Feiler.
Memorials may be directed towards the Insight Hospital Cancer Center and the Humane Society of Branch County.



I am so sorry to hear of Karen. She and her family lived in my neighborhood and I babysat sometimes when i was a kid. Always a gracious and kind lady. She will be missed.
