Tammy was born February 19, 1962, in Hillsdale, Michigan to William and Marcia (Gowthrop) Weage. June 1, 2011, she married Stuart A. Warner, who preceded her in death June 10, 2013.
Tammy dedicated many years to Battle Creek Public Schools, where she served as a facility secretary. Outside of work, she found joy in reading, gardening, crafting, and decorating her home. She had a passion for travel, especially to the beach, and had a gift for making friends wherever she went.
Tammy was known for her adventurous and outgoing spirit—always ready to explore new places, try something different, or strike up a conversation with a stranger who quickly became a friend. Her vibrant personality lit up every room she entered.
Above all, Tammy was a devoted mother, grandmother, and dog mom to Bear, cherishing every moment spent with her family.
She is survived by her father, Norman Mock; her children, Brandon Larson, Shawn (Lelah) Larson, and Heather (Zachary) Warren; her siblings, Su Diamond, Brian (Luann) Mock, Timothy (Carolyn) Weage, Tracy Weage, and Teanna (Scott) Jones; her grandchildren, Dylan Larson, Clark Larson, Grayson Warren, and Saige Warren; and her beloved pets, Bear and Sophie.
Tammy was preceded in death by her mother, Marcia Mock; her husband, Stuart Warner; and her sisters, Connie Slack and Brenda Jolliff.
In honor of Tammy’s love for animals, memorial contributions may be made to the Humane Society of Branch County.
