Catherine (“Cathy”) Rigg Harari, 68, died after an extended illness October 5, 2025 at her summer residence in Quincy.
A memorial service will be held Friday, October 10, 2025 at 11:00 a.m. at First Baptist Church of Coldwater, 102 Bishop Avenue.

She was born November 10, 1956 in Coldwater, MI, the daughter of Remus and Ruth (Fenner) Rigg.
Cathy is a graduate of Coldwater High School and then went on to earn a Bachelor’s Degree from Western Michigan University. Cathy pursued a career in accounting and audit, working for several companies in the Detroit area.
In 1987, Cathy moved to California where she met her husband, Steven Harari in 1990. Married in Los Altos, California in 1991, the couple have two sons, Thomas, and John.
Cathy was a proud homemaker and enjoyed both cooking and gardening. Happiest when surrounded by family, Cathy and Steve, along with their boys, returned to Coldwater every summer and many Christmases to be with her Michigan family.
Cathy was a student of the Bible and participated in Bible Study groups for the past 20 years. On her gravestone it reads “She Loves Jesus”.
In 2020, Cathy and Steve moved from California to Sulphur Springs, Arkansas.
Cathy is survived by her husband, Steve Harari of Sulphur Springs, AR; her sons, Thomas Harari of Bozeman, MT, and John Harari of Quincy, MI; her father and stepmother, Remus (Donna) Rigg of Coldwater, MI; her sister, Lisa (Orval) Huff of Quincy, MI. Numerous in-laws and nieces and nephews were cherished by her.
