UNION CITY, MI (WTVB) – Union City High School has launched a new student wellness initiative to bring a certified school therapy dog to campus through a partnership with Magnum K9.
The program aims to support students struggling with stress, anxiety, and emotional regulation, while also providing comfort during testing and counseling sessions.
To ensure the success of this program, the school is inviting local businesses and community members to participate in a tiered sponsorship drive. Opportunities range from the $200 Bronze Paw level to the $1,000 Platinum Paw level, which includes an on-air interview on the school’s broadcast, Charger Chatter.
In addition you can drop off your returnable bagged cans and bottles in the horse trailer parked in front of the high school.
Those interested in contributing can find more information or make a donation through the Union City Community Schools website to help foster a more positive and supportive school culture.
