COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – On June 27, 2018, the Branch County Association of REALTORS® held their 4th annual luncheon food drive. The event was sponsored by Karen Messer and Sheila McEldowney from GreenStone Farm Credit Services and was held at the Coldwater Broadway Grille.
This year, members donated 943 pounds of food and raised over $330.00 in cash for the SonShine Ministries Food Pantry in Quincy.Members also received informational presentations from Quincy Village Manager Eric Zuzga and Branch County Sheriff John Pollack.
Once the meeting was adjourned, members delivered the food to the pantry. The event is the REALTORS® way of helping curb hunger for area children during the summer months when school breakfast or lunch programs might not be available.
