COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – The first four cases of cyclosporiasis have been reported in Branch County as part of an escalating statewide parasitic outbreak.
According to the latest update from the Michigan Department of Health and Human Services (MDHHS) dashboard, statewide infections have rapidly jumped to 3,309 cases, up from the 2,640 cases reported on Monday. This sudden single-day spike represents an increase of nearly 700 additional cases across the state, prompting heightened concern from local health departments.
