COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – A prayer vigil is planned tonight for the City of Coldwater’s Director of Public Safety who died Monday evening.
54-year-old Joseph Scheid passed away while at the city’s Public Services Building on Division Street.
An online post by organizers says “Let’s come together as a community to honor the life, legacy, and unwavering service of a leader who dedicated himself to keeping Coldwater safe.”
They say it will be an informal gathering to pray, reflect, and show support for Sheid’s family and other first responders.
the vigil will be held at 9:00 p.m. behind the Public safety Building at 57 Division Street.
